Verizon wants us all to know that they too will be carrying the G2 sometime "soon". They also want you to remember that you're using Verizon, and just in case they have dolled up the phone like something Richard Petty would drive.
It shouldn't affect the performance, and we know a place where you can buy a case that makes it all go away.
